Student Photographer

Thomas University’s Athletic Communications Department is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Student Photographer to visually capture athletes and athletic competitions. This role supports the athletic department’s branding and promotional efforts by producing high-quality, engaging imagery for digital and print platforms.

This individual will report directly to the Athletic Communication Director.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Photograph athletes and athletic contests
• Edit and organize photo assets for use in marketing materials and social media
• Collaborate with athletic communications staff to ensure visual content aligns with brand standards
• Maintain equipment and follow best practices for digital asset management

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS

• Current TU student
• Eligible for Federal College Workstudy
• Experience with DSLR cameras and photo editing software
• Strong eye for composition and storytelling
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Interest in photography, media, or visual communications
