Apply NowIowa State University Athletics is accepting applications for Technical Coordinator for Player Development for the women’s volleyball program. This position will report to the Head Coach and assist with all aspects of game plan preparation, practice organization, equipment and off-season training programs. Duties will include:
Candidates will perform all duties with a commitment to adhering to University, Big 12 Conference andNCAApolicies, procedures, and regulations; will contribute to and enhance a competitive athletic experience; will help foster an environment that promotes the well-being, personal development, and academic success of the student-athletes; and will establish and maintain effective interactions with students, colleagues, university community, alumni, media and the public.
This position requires solid knowledge of volleyball with the ability to provide effective technical analysis; proficiency using data coding software, video equipment and video editing software; and strong communication and organizational skills. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse student body. This position will travel with the team, attend practices and work non-traditional hours.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
Experience in sport operations that involves knowledge of volleyball terms and experience using data coding software for the sport.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong experience using Data Project/VolleyStation/VolleyMetrics to code court action, analyze statistics, and create custom reports.
Experience preparing detailed scouting reports of opponents.
Experience working in collegiate volleyball.
