Athletic Foundation

Job Summary

This position will provide direct assistance with planning and execution of events related to the Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation. The person in this position will gain relevant experience in the athletic event space and professional development working daily with supporters of Georgia Southern Athletics and the Athletic Foundation staff.

Temporary employees are employed according to departmental need and the length of time will vary by workload and may not exceed 1300 hours worked in a 12-consecutive month period.

Responsibilities

• Help plan, organize, and executive Athletic Foundation events Phone communication with outside organizations that will be needed to help complete events Involved in the execution for Eagle Club events, the Erk Russell Fund Donor Weekend, and pop-up events as needed Involved in the hospitality planning and execution of football gameday premium areas
• Help with stewardship of Athletic Foundation donors and Giving Society donors

Shift Specifics

• 20 hours per week
• Flexible with schedule of availability
• Shifts available Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
• Shifts dependent on Athletic Foundation games and events related to donors and student athlete functions.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelors Degree

Required Experience

• Any relevant knowledge of events and catering

Proposed Salary

$10.00 per hour

_ This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis. _
