Assist with field set-up and athlete hydration during practices and other athletic events. This position requires good communication and management skills, as well as evening and weekend availability.

Position Description and Details

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-practice and pre-game preparation including field set-up and filling ice chests, sprayers, and water bottles
• Refill sprayers and water bottles as needed during practices and events
• Assist with post-practice and post-game procedures including sideline tear-down and cleaning hydration equipment
• Maintain professional relationships and interactions with fellow workers and student-athletes
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace within the Athletic Training Room
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Possible travel

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people
• Strong communication and work ethic
• Ability to comprehend and execute assigned tasks efficiently
• Capable of meeting physical demands of position (i.e. Standing for extended periods of time, lifting 50+ pounds, tolerating inclement weather, etc.)
