Job Summary

Auburn University Football Strength and Conditioning is currently seeking applicants for an internship for the year of 2026. Qualified individuals who are chosen will have the opportunity to assist and learn from a division 1 Football Strength and Conditioning Staff.

Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:

• Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time
• Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads
• Assistance with special projects
• Seasonal work
• Emergencies

Essential Functions

• set up and breakdown of all football training session
• consistent facility maintenance
• data entry
• assisting full-time staff in all football training sessions in compliance with NCAA rules
• other duties as assigned by the full-time strength and conditioning staff

The Internship is set to start immediately and will conclude December 31st, 2026.

Minimum Qualifications

Expectations:

• Must possess great work ethic, energy and character. As well as exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Potential candidates must have a strong desire to progress in the field, as well as the desire to pursue a career in collegiate strength and conditioning.

Desired Qualifications

• Previous experience as an intern in the collegiate strength and conditioning setting, or coaching experience in athletics, and/or CSCS certification is preferred, but not required.
