Auburn Athletics seeks candidates for a
TES
War Eagle Creative Assistant. As a member of the award-winning
War Eagle Creative department,
this position would gain intricate hands-on experience working closely alongside full-time professionals during production of long-form content (to be disseminated through Auburn Athletics video boards, War Eagle+,
SEC
Network, websites, syndicated television programming, and other multimedia outlets). This position would assist in the production and logistical coordination of long-form creative video content for Auburn University’s athletic department.

Temporary Employment Services (
TES
)
, a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university.
TES
provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:
Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time
Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads
Assistance with special projects
Seasonal work
Emergencies

Assists in the logistical planning and producing of high-end creative documentaries, mini-docs, episodic documentaries, profiles, as well as high-art commercials.
Long-form episodic production experience includes, but is not limited to shooting, logging, editing, writing, color grading, and delivery of said episodes in a professional and timely manner.
Employs advanced lighting techniques to aide in a consistent “look” of interviews across long-form content. Aids in the actual set-up of both on-campus and on-location interview shoots.
Logging/adding of metadata to footage (both current and historical) using unique in-house naming convention.
Assists in the collaboration and integration of the video services department and off-campus entities for content creation and delivery.
Assists in the fulfillment of corporate sponsorships with Auburn Sports Properties.
Complies with all applicable National Collegiate Athletic Association (
NCAA
) and Southeastern Conference (
SEC
) regulations in the performance of job duties.
High school diploma or equivalent
Expectations:
Proven track record of professional consistency and punctuality in the university-setting (Division-1FBS or
NFL
experience would be a plus).
Has a minimum understanding of industry-standards regarding cameras, camera settings, sports shooting requirements, and lighting equipment.
Ability to communicate, both verbally and nonverbally, in a professional manner during stressful situations.
Possesses hands-on experience in the creation of creative media, preferable at the Division 1 or
NFL
level.
