Position Summary:
Grand Valley State University Athletics seeks a Ticket Office Assistant (Adjunct) for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is typically a two-year position renewed annually based on educational requirements and successful evaluation after the first year of employment. Position begins July 1, 2025.
Compensation:
$15,000 ($1250 per month) for a 12-month appointment, a full tuition waiver, and a parking pass.
Primary Duties:
Provide exceptional customer service in-person, over the phone, and via e-mail.
Assist in ticket office sales, will call, and customer service duties at athletic events, including all home football games.
Oversee ticket office student worker schedule (events and office hours).

Assist with advance ticket sales including the execution of season ticket and group sales campaigns.
Learn and develop expert knowledge of ticketing software (AudienceView) and the ticket sales process.
Help train new student workers on ticket office policies and procedures.
Keep ticket sales and attendance game reports updated for assigned sports. Setup and test ticket scanning at facility entrances.
Work with Assoc. AD-Compliance and coaches on complimentary ticket lists/distribution and maintain accurate records.
Coordinate passes for media and other special guests.
Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Valid driver’s license. A MVR will be conducted upon hire.
Experience with various computer software applications i.e. Microsoft Office
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Previous experience with ticket office sales
Some college coursework
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment. Nights and weekends are required. May work up to 29 hours per week.
