Job Description Summary

The Liberty Ticket Office seeks a positive and passionate individual that is committed to becoming a sports sales industry leader. Sales and service consultant's revenue will be generated primarily via outbound phone calls. These calls will be supplemented with email marketing. Day to day leadership and mentoring of this career growth oriented sports sales development program will be provided by the Liberty Athletics Ticket Sales and Operations Team.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. Perform outbound calls for Liberty University Athletics for all ticketed sports.

2. Inventory which is available for sale from the Liberty University ticket office which includes but is not limited to: season tickets, group tickets, partial/mini-plan ticket packages.

3. Single game tickets meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals while exceeding client expectations in value and customer service.

4. Grow sales significantly each week by attracting additional business leads.

5. Maintain computerized records of all prospects and customers with ticketing database, working home games, performing various ticket sales and service duties as assigned and agreed upon with the Ticket Sales and Operations leadership.

6. Contact area businesses and individuals via phone, in-person appointments and networking events to sell season tickets, corporate, partial plans and group ticket plans.

7. Make 90-100 outbound calls daily.

8. Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Associate Director of Ticket Operations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This is position is responsible for one staff.

Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies

Must have previous customer service or retail sales experience and be proficient in MS Office Suite. At least one year of sports ticket sales experience preferred. Effective communication both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to intuitively reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature. Excellent computer and organizational skills. Regularly lift 10 or fewer pounds. Proof of a valid Virginia driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, and liability insurance is required.
