University of the Incarnate Word is a Catholic institution that welcomes to its community persons of diverse backgrounds, in the belief that their respectful interaction advances the discovery of truth, mutual understanding, self-realization, and the common good.
The Ticketing Graduate Assistant assists with day-to-day ticket operations and implementation of our strategic plan to sell season and group tickets in football, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and softball. The Ticketing Graduate Assistant reports to Coordinator of Ticket Sales.
Qualifications

- Possess an interest in college athletics and sales.
- Self-starter with outstanding work ethic.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Works well in a fast -paced, team environment.
- Consistent, punctual, and regular attendance.
- Relative course study or experience.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
- Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.

| Required Education |
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Must be current UIW Graduate Student

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Previous sales or customer service experience (preferred not required)

| Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations |
Must have a valid drivers license, driving record that is insurable by UIW insurance carrier, and be at least 21 years of age, as required to drive for UIW.

| Work Hours |
- Monday-Friday, some nights and weekends.
- Must work at least 20-25 hours per week.

| Physical Demands |
- Ability to lift equipment, tools, and/or materials weighing up to 25 pounds waist high.
- Ability to move around campus.
