Summary:
Serves as a videographer for Women’s Basketball. Primary role is to research game films/video and clips of Wake Forest Basketball and Wake Forest Basketball opponents for individual development and opponent game preparation and coordinate all aspects of recruiting of prospective-student athletes.
Job Description
Essential Functions:
Creates videos for recruits to see on their visit.
Assists in scouting and film editing, cutting, organizing, and documenting clips.
Completes end game breakdown for coaching staff.
Responsible for halftime film breakdown in locker room.
Provides practice and game film on coach’s computers.
Provide game film for opponents.
Responsible for film breakdown of practice clips. Including presenting the clips to the players.
Maintains Hudl database- send clips to players from practice and games.
Assists with technology assets in the locker room and office spaces.
Oversees mailouts and month-to-month contact calendar.
Creates recruiting content for PSA’s.
Other Functions:
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree with two years of experience in a collegiate sports program.
General knowledge of an intercollegiate basketball organization.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Knowledge of JustPlay, Synergy, Hudl video systems.
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Working knowledge of NCAA and ACC rules as it pertains to regulations of video exchange and operations.
Knowledge of professional video, including use of digital video cameras, recorders, digitizers, patch panels, video projectors.
Ability to work in extremely high stress, pressured, deadline driven situations.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Ability to travel with teams as assigned.
Valid driver license with a good driving record; must be insurable.
Subject to indoor and outdoor environments.
