JOB SUMMARY

The Women’s Wrestling Work Study position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and set up needs of the wrestling facility as it relates to day to day team usage and event set up. This position reports directly to the Men’s and Women’s Wrestling Head Coach and may be responsible for other assigned duties as needed by their supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily sweep and mop the wrestling mats priorto the start of practice at 7:00am

• Arrive before practices to set up equipment that will be used during practices

• At the conclusion of practices, wipe down all equipment used and return it to its designated storage

• Wipe down/clean weight and lifting equipment used during lifting practices twice a week

• Daily collect, wash, and return women's practice laundry & towels to their lockers

• Following a competition, collect, wash, and return travel gear and uniforms to the coaches

• Vacuum the women's locker room floors 3 times a week

• Check and maintain the defense soap dispensers in the women's showers and organize the toiletries left in the showers

• Weekly vacuum the team room and wipe down the leather couches

• Help set up/tear down event space for home wrestling events (i.e. moving mats, setting mats up, sweeping/mopping mats, setting gym space up, working tables)

• Be prepared to help with random tasks that Women's and Men's Coaches may assign.
