Duties and Responsibilities:Athletics Gameday Staff Team members are student workers who will work directly with the Department of Athletics staff to serve as the face of AUM during home athletic events hosted on-campus, which are typically evenings and weekends. Team members may also be asked to help with AUM Athletics special events and department representation at campus.Work as a part of the Athletics Game Day Operations teamBe on-time and work all scheduled eventsBe an engaging, welcoming representative of AUM and AUM Athletics for fansAssist in general AUM Athletics gameday responsibilities, including: Gameday Operations, Marketing, On-Court Promotions, Ticketing, Social Media, Camerawork, Photography, Scoreboard Operations, other Athletics Communications duties, and other various AUM Athletics duties and tasks.Applicants with a special interest in Athletic Communications who demonstrate relevant advanced knowledge, skills and abilities may also be able to execute additional responsibilities. Qualifications:Qualifications:Customer service skillsCommunication skillsAttention to detailGood work ethicProfessionalism Advanced Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Advanced Duties & Responsibilities include: Experience with Special Events or Game OperationsCoordination and implementation of community outreach and partnership initiativesPhotography or Videography Graphic Design / Proficient experience with Adobe Creative Suite Game Filming and/or BlueFrame Technology video streamingBroadcasting experienceExperience using NCAA Live Stats, StatCrew and Presto Sports Statistics SoftwareSport specific rules knowledge of one or more sport of AUM’s 11 varsity sportsExperience using HomeTown Ticketing or similar online ticketing platform Preferred candidates are those that wish to work in Athletics (College or Professional), Marketing, Business, or are looking for ways to improve their skills and the AUM campus. Few events will be during regular business hours, therefore, candidates must be available to work on nights and weekends.
